Polysomnographic Markers in Children With Cystic Fibrosis Lung Disease

Priv. Doz. Dr. med. Hartmut Schneider carried out a study along with several other professionals to identify respiratory patterns over the spectrum of disease severity in children with Cystic Fibrosos Lung Disease. Their hypothesis for this investigation was that children with CF compared with snoring control subjects demonstrate gas exchange abnormalities and increased respiratory loads during sleep that are are not identified by a normal sleep polysomnography.
